PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Designed for pediatricians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, emergency physicians, and other healthcare providers who care for infants and children. The PALS course teaches participants:
- to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest
- strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children
- skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest.
The PALS Study Guide will be e-mailed to you following registration for your PALS class.
PLEASE NOTE: BLS RENEWAL CAN BE ADDED ON TO ANY PALS CLASS DURING YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS. This allows you to get both cards on the same day while only completing the written test and additional skills testing following your PALS class. This is considered to be a traditional class "challenge" meaning you must pass the test and skills without remediation. We will provide a study guide and review to assist you.

PALS Training
Children are special. Many pediatric emergencies develop due to trauma or respiratory causes. While there are many similarities between ACLS and PALS, there are certain things that are very different and unique to this young population. This PALS course will teach you how to treat pediatric emergencies both in and out of hospital settings.
"This is the 5th course I have taken since September with you. My new employer pays for our certification by their educator, but the level of quality/comfort here is unsurpassed. Thank you!"
